I saw from Ed's blog that you can test the loading speed of your blog by entering your blog URL on Full Page Test_Pingdom Tools.
I mentioned before that my Wordpress is far faster than my Blogger, so I tested both of them and the results accord with my experiences. (It should be the speed from US, not from Taiwan.)
Blogger is free for users to change anything they want, but those changes decelerate the time of loading. I'd thought that it was due to the javascript codes, but, seeing from the chart (I didn't paste it here), those that take more time are *.gif or *.png files, which I uploaded to Google Page Creator (GPC). Blogger and GPC are both Google's services, but, ironically, Blogger is encumbered with GPC.
